Numerical simulation and analysis of crack disease in tunnel lining structure

Tunnel construction in China is increasing year by year. With the passage of time, will usher peak period tunnel engineering repair, and it vital to study advance influential nature lining crack disease as well management measures. By summarising a large amount relevant literature, this paper analyses main locations where cracks are generated linings. Through method finite element numerical analysis, 24 cases different widths depths were modelled calculated for each location vaults, shoulders side walls, respectively, analyse influence on internal forces deformation lining. The shows that stress concentration around tip decreases with increase width, while increases depth. stresses other parts after created, which has deteriorating effect load-bearing capacity stability structure. width depth, sinking vault heaving back arch increase, especially when large, but cracking less lateral Compared top shoulder arch, walls have more pronounced distribution cracks.
